The Graveside Ceremony on Memorial Day morning at Forest Lawn Cemetery features a flag folding, rifle salute, and playing of taps. Gresham United Veterans of Foreign Wars Post 180 and the cemetery co-host the event.

2018 Memorial Day Ceremony at Gresham Heroes Memorial.Gresham Heroes Memorial at night. Completed in 2009, the plaza honors all community heroes in the Military, Police and Fire. Even during the five years of its construction, Memorial Day services here included a ringing of the bell for Oregonians lost in Iraq and Afghanistan.
