  1. We have taken part in this event in the past and I see my late husband, Grier Ingebretsen, in his Revolutionary War uniform in the picture for this page. I am also the baton twirler who comes early to practice with the American Legion band. The event is always well attended and the programs have been outstanding. So glad it is back this year.

    1. Thank you, Patti. I couldn’t agree more. I remember your twirling very well! All our sincere appreciation for you and Grier and best wishes to you always. -Marc

  2. I have so much hope for next year. Thank you for letting my family know about this, we will definitely be there to show our support of veterans and those that didn’t make it home!

  3. With 85% combined vaccination and acquired immunity rates continued cancellation of meaningful community events is so absurd. They don’t even believe the CDC after they told us to believe the CDC. This is just another loss of our freedoms and traditions that bind us together. It’s so pathetic to me.

  4. Covid-19 is a convenient excuse to not have any remembrance event in 2021. I certainly hope the City will make up for this next year!
